On Saturday July 18th, Benjamin’s hosed a Meet the Artist night, and invited The House of Cigars Master Roller Addit Brito to roll fresh cigars.

Event also included art from Roberto Gongora, Exotic motorcycles from Stephen Gavin of Kustom Wirred Motorcycles, Rory St. Croix & Debra from PRP Win distributors. Food was provided by The Floridian.

Benjamin’s Studio is located at 200 104th Ave Treasure Island, FL

LANNIE BATTISTINI’S NEW LATIN JAZZ CD ALBUM RELEASE

"HANDS IN MOTION" AND UP COMING TOUR

Latin Jazz Artist, Lannie Battistini will
begin touring towards the last quarter of this year promoting his
latest Latin Jazz CD album, "Hands in Motion".

Lannie, a native from San Juan, Puerto Rico began his music career after earning his bachelor’s degree in
arranging, composition, film scoring and piano as his main instrument
from Berklee School of Music in Boston at the age of 23. His
inspiration and Jazz roots were inspired by some of the jazz “greats”
such as, Oscar Peterson, McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and
Keith Jarett.

Following his heritage, he is known for his unique eclectic style
incorporating his Latin rhythms to his original compositions as well as
with other jazz standards. He has performed in many Jazz Festivals,
concerts and special events throughout the Caribbean and the US. In the
28 years dedicated to his music, he has won numerous recognitions and
awards for his song-writing abilities. He’s
had the honor to share live stages as pianist/keyboardist with known
legendary artists and groups such as: Luis “Perico” Ortiz, Batacumbele, Giovanni Hidalgo,
Dave Valentin, Papo Vazquez, Rie Akagi (The magic Flute from Japan),
Humberto Ramírez, Pedro Guzman, Charlie Sepulveda,
Anthony Carrillo and Jose Feliciano, just to name a few.

Lannie also toured
throughout the US and Latin America for Internationally
known Latin Artists such as; Ednita Nazario and Olga
Tañon. While touring with Olga Tañon, Lannie participated in the Grammy
Winning Live Cd Album recording, “Olga Viva, Viva Olga”, at the House
of Blues in Orlando in the Merengue/Pop
category 2001, following a Grammy Nomination for the same album the
previous year.

Now it’s his turn to set the standard with his new Latin Jazz CD, Hands In Motion, released March 27 through his own label Himmusic. In the last quarter of this year, Lannie will be have his CD Release party in Florida where he
presently resides. Also by that time, he will launch his National Tour which will include such US cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Alberquerque, Denver, Dallas, Tampa, Orlando, Miami, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
